Product Overview

Pure copper wire is a drawn copper product manufactured in multiple grades, tempers, and conductor structures for industrial and commercial applications. With excellent electrical conductivity and reliable mechanical performance, pure copper wire provides stable current transmission and long-term durability.

Produced through precision drawing, annealing, and stranding processes, pure copper wire offers excellent flexibility, formability, and dimensional consistency for demanding electrical environments. Its high conductivity and reliable corrosion resistance make it suitable for both low-voltage and high-performance electrical systems.

Pure copper wire is extensively used in electrical wiring, transformers, motors, grounding systems, and electronic equipment where conductivity and reliability are essential. It is widely applied across power generation, telecommunications, automotive, electronics, and industrial manufacturing industries.

FAQ — Brass Wire

Common engineering questions on brass wire: grades, standards, tempers and supply.

Cartridge brass C26000, yellow brass C27000/C27200 and free-cutting brass C36000 are the typical UNS grades drawn into wire, selected by formability, strength and machinability needs.
General brass wire is covered by ASTM B134; nickel-silver wire by ASTM B206. C36000 free-cutting wire also references ASTM B16/B453. Verify the specification against the temper required.
Brass wire is supplied in annealed (O61) and various hard tempers (H00–H04), from fine gauges under 0.5 mm to several mm. Hard tempers raise strength but reduce bend ductility.
Zippers, pins, rivets, sieves, brush bristles, ornamental wire and electrical terminals. C26000 is preferred where deep forming is needed; C36000 where extensive machining is involved.
Linsy Copper supplies brass wire against ASTM specs with per-order MTR/MTC, SGS on request, RoHS/REACH compliance, low-MOQ custom runs and a 10–60 day lead time, with quote response within 1 hour.
