Product Overview

Brass sheet is a flat-rolled copper alloy product manufactured in a wide range of grades, thicknesses, and tempers for industrial and commercial applications. Combining the strength of zinc with the conductivity and corrosion resistance of copper, brass sheet provides balanced mechanical and processing performance.

Produced through precision hot rolling and cold rolling processes, brass sheet offers excellent formability, good machinability, and reliable dimensional stability. Its smooth surface finish and attractive golden appearance make it suitable for both functional and decorative applications.

Brass sheet is extensively used in electrical components, architectural panels, heat exchangers, stamping parts, and industrial fabrication projects. It is widely applied across construction, electronics, automotive, HVAC, and general engineering industries.

FAQ — Brass Sheet

Common engineering questions on brass sheet: grades, standards, tempers and supply.

Cartridge brass C26000 (70/30), yellow brass C26800/C27200, Muntz metal C28000 and red brass C23000 are the common UNS grades rolled into sheet and strip, selected by formability, strength and color.
Brass plate, sheet, strip and rolled bar are covered by ASTM B36. Cartridge brass also references ASTM B19 for strip, and C23000 red brass follows ASTM B36 with specific temper requirements.
Brass sheet is supplied in annealed (O61) and cold-rolled tempers (H02–H08). Annealed and quarter-hard tempers draw and form best; hard tempers raise strength and springback for structural use.
Deep-drawn shells, ammunition cases, electronic connectors, decorative panels, nameplates and musical-instrument parts. C26000 is the standard for severe drawing; C28000 is used where higher strength is acceptable.
Linsy Copper supplies brass sheet against ASTM specs with per-order MTR/MTC, SGS on request, RoHS/REACH compliance, low-MOQ custom production and a 10–60 day lead time, with quote response within 1 hour.
